Dear Third Grade Parents,

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a very nice and relaxing spring break with your children. We are now in the homestretch! We will be busy, busy, busy!

Centennial Mass: You are warmly invited to join current and former students and staff along with the parish community of Holy Rosary in celebrating Mass in honor of the Centennial Year of Holy Rosary School with Archbishop J. Peter Sartain this Sunday, May 4 at 11:30 AM. Reception follows in Lanigan Gym. RSVP by April 30th with number attending to centennial@holyrosaryws.org. We are asking that students please wear perfect uniform at this Mass.

Memorare Prayer:Students are learning a new prayer, the Memorare. We will begin saying it as our daily prayer in the morning. A copy will be sent home later this week. Please practice this with your child. Each child will need to have this memorized and recite it to me on or by Thursday, May 29th. If your child is ready to recite this prayer before May 29th, they can recite it to me anytime before or after school or at a recess.

iMovie Book Report: Each student will choose a book from this month’s reading log on which to prepare an iMovie book report. More information will be sent home tomorrow, please look for it in your child’s filer.

Mass: We will have Mass on Thursday, May 1st to celebrate Mary. It will be at 8:45am. Students need to be in perfect uniform.

Reading Logs: I will be passing one out for May on Thursday. This will be the last reading log for the year.

Water Bottles: It is suppose to start warming up this week and our classroom gets very warm. It would help if your child brought a water bottle, to help stay hydrated. Thanks!
